| Selection Method Selection Process: APPSC Recruitment 2025The selection process for APPSC Forest Beat Officer and Assistant Beat Officer Recruitment 2025 is multi-staged, designed to assess candidates’ knowledge, physical fitness, and overall suitability. The process includes the following stages: - Preliminary Examination (Screening Test):
- Conducted if the number of applicants exceeds 200 times the available vacancies.
- An offline, OMR-based test with objective-type questions.
- Subjects: General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science & General Mathematics.
- Total marks: 150, with a duration of 150 minutes.
- Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The preliminary exam is scheduled for 07 September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Main Written Examination:
- An online examination for candidates who qualify in the preliminary test.
- Consists of two parts:
- Part I: Essay Writing (descriptive, 50 marks, qualifying in nature).
- Part II: 100 questions on Mental Ability & General Studies and 100 questions on General Science & General Mathematics (objective, 200 marks).
- Negative marking: 1/3rd mark for incorrect answers in Part II.
