Qualification

• Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen/F&A/S&P) : Candidates must have passed 10+2/XII + Computer typing speed as per the norms fixed by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). A typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer is required, which corresponds to 10,500 key depressions per hour (KDPH) for English and 9,000 KDPH for Hindi.
• Junior Stenographer : Candidates must have passed 10+2/XII + possess proficiency in stenography as per DoPT norms. This typically includes a shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. in English or Hindi, along with computer proficiency.

• CSIR IICB Recruitment 2025 Application Process: How to Apply Online

  The CSIR IICB Recruitment 2025 requires candidates to apply online through the official CSIR-IICB website or its career portal. The online application process is straightforward, and candidates must follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to iicb.res.in or the career portal at www.career.iicb.res.in.
  2. Download the Notification: Access the official notification PDF at Detailed Advertisement PDF to review eligibility and instructions.
  3. Register Online: Click on the “APPLY ONLINE” option on the website, which opens a new registration screen. Select “Click here for New Registration” and enter your name, contact details, and email ID to register.
  4. Fill Out the Application Form: Log in with the registered credentials and complete the application form with accurate details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and category details.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, such as:
     • 10+2/XII mark sheets and certificates
     • Age proof (birth certificate or 10th certificate)
     • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, if applicable)
     • Recent passport-size photograph and signature
     • Self-declaration statement (handwritten): “I, [Name], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
  6. Pay the Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 100/- for General and OBC candidates, payable online via debit card, credit card, or net banking. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR employees/abroad candidates are exempted from the fee.
  7. Save and Submit: Candidates can save their progress using the “SAVE AND NEXT” option if they cannot complete the form in one go. After verifying all details, submit the application.
  8. Keep a Hard Copy: Download and print the submitted application form for future reference.

  Note: The online application window is open from 28-07-2025 to 22-08-2025. Candidates must submit their applications by 22-08-2025, which is also the last date for fee payment.
