  • AFCAT Flying Batch : 20-24 Years.
  • Ground Duty Technical / Non Technical : 20-26 Years.

Mode of Selection
  • AFCAT Online Test: A computer-based test assessing knowledge in General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Military Reasoning, and an Aptitude test specific to the chosen branch.
  • Shortlisting: Candidates who clear the online test are shortlisted for the next stage based on merit.
  • Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend an AFSB interview that assesses leadership potential, communication skills, psychological aptitude, and physical fitness.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the AFSB interview undergo a medical examination to assess physical fitness for service.
  • Final Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on the combined performance in all stages. Selected candidates are called for training.
