Selection Method

  The selection process for the RPSC Senior Teacher (Grade II) Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

  1. Written Examination: The selection process involves a competitive written exam comprising two papers:
     • Paper I (200 marks): Covers General Knowledge (Rajasthan-specific), Current Affairs, General Knowledge of India and the World, and Educational Psychology. It includes 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a time limit of 2 hours.
     • Paper II (300 marks): Focuses on subject-specific content (secondary, senior secondary, and graduation levels) and pedagogy. It includes 150 MCQs with a time limit of 3 hours.
     • Both papers have a negative marking system, with a 1/3rd mark deduction for each incorrect answer. The minimum qualifying marks are 40%, with relaxations for SC/ST candidates.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam will undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility, including educational certificates, identity proof, and category certificates (if applicable).

Qualification

• General Subjects (Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, etc.) : Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least two relevant subjects as optional subjects and a Degree or Diploma in Education (B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
• Specialized Subjects (Science, Mathematics, etc.) : A Bachelor’s degree with the required subject combination and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.
• Additional Requirements : Proficiency in Hindi (written in Devanagari script) and knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture are mandatory

  The application process for the RPSC Recruitment 2025 is entirely online and requires candidates to complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the RPSC or SSO portal. Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR): First-time applicants must register using their Aadhaar details, 10th-grade certificate, and upload a live photo, signature, and left thumb impression.
  3. Log In: Use your SSO ID to access the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C).
  4. Fill the Application Form: Enter your OTR number, select the Senior Teacher (Grade II) recruitment, and provide personal, academic, and subject-specific details.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including educational certificates, photograph, signature, and left thumb impression (ensure clarity for biometric verification).
  6. Pay the Application Fee:
     • General/EBC/OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
     • SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwD: ₹400
     • Application Correction Fee (if needed): ₹500
     • Payment can be made online via Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI.
     • The last date for fee payment is 17 September 2025.
  7. Submit and Verify: Check the live photo preview, verify all entries, and submit the form. Ensure you receive an Application Number to confirm successful submission.
