Eligibility Criteria: Education

• School Lecturers (General Subjects): Candidates must hold a Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Hindi, English, Political Science) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with a minimum of second division (48% marks). Additionally, a Degree or Diploma in Education (B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or the Government is required.
• School Lecturers (Science Subjects): A Postgraduate degree in subjects like Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Science, or Bioscience, with Botany and Zoology studied at the graduation level, and a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Commerce: A Postgraduate degree in Commerce with a B.Com. or a Postgraduate degree in Commerce with at least two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary classes as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer, along with a B.Ed.
• Coaches: A Diploma or certificate from a recognized sports institution (e.g., National Institute of Sports) and a Postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
• Additional Requirements: Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthan’s culture are mandatory for all posts.

• SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Men): 5 years
• Women (General Category): 5 years
• Women (Reserved Categories): 10 years

How to Apply Online for RPSC School Lecturer Recruitment 2025

The application process for the RPSC Recruitment 2025 is entirely online and requires candidates to complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the RPSC or SSO portal. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR): New applicants must register using their Aadhaar details, 10th-grade certificate, and upload a live photo, signature, and left thumb impression.
3. Log In: Use your SSO ID to access the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C).
4. Fill the Application Form: Enter your OTR number, select the School Lecturer and Coach recruitment, and provide personal, academic, and subject-specific details.
5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including educational certificates, photograph, signature, and left thumb impression (ensure clarity for biometric verification).
6. Pay the Application Fee:
   • General/EBC/OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
   • SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwD: ₹400
   • Application Correction Fee (if needed): ₹500
   • Payment can be made online via Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI.
   • The last date for fee payment is 12 September 2025.
7. Submit and Verify: Preview and verify the form, submit it, and ensure you receive an Application Number to confirm successful submission.
8. Download Confirmation: Save and print the application form for future reference.

Selection Process

• Written Examination: The competitive exam comprises two papers:
  • Paper I (General Awareness and General Studies): 150 marks, 1.5 hours, 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Topics include Geographical, Historical, Cultural, and General Knowledge of Rajasthan; Current Affairs of Rajasthan; General Knowledge of India and the World; and Educational Psychology. Negative marking applies (1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer). Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST).
  • Paper II (Subject-Specific): 300 marks, 3 hours, 150 MCQs. Focuses on subject-specific knowledge at secondary, senior secondary, and graduation levels, along with pedagogy. Negative marking applies (1/3rd mark per wrong answer). Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST).
  • Coaches may earn bonus marks for participation in recognized sports tournaments, as verified by relevant authorities.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam must submit original documents for verification, including educational certificates, identity proof, domicile certificate, and category certificates (if applicable).
