Selection Method

  The selection process for SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment 2025 varies slightly for MTS and Havaldar posts:

  For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE):
     • Session 1: 40 questions (120 marks) covering Numerical Ability, Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Problem Solving. Duration: 45 minutes. No negative marking.
     • Session 2: 50 questions (150 marks) covering General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. Duration: 45 minutes. Negative marking of 1 mark per wrong answer.
     • Both sessions are mandatory, and scores are normalized for merit determination based on Session 2 performance.
     • Separate category-wise and state/UT-wise cut-offs are fixed for two age groups: 18–25 years and 18–27 years.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present original documents (e.g., matriculation certificate, age proof, category certificate) for verification.
  3. Final Merit List: Based on Session 2 performance, with merit determined solely by normalized scores.

  For Havaldar (CBIC & CBN)

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): Same as MTS (Session 1 and Session 2).
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST):
     • PET:
       • Male: 1600-meter walk in 15 minutes.
       • Female: 1-km walk in 20 minutes.
     • PST: Height, chest (for males), and weight standards as specified in the notification.
     • Exemptions for certain categories (e.g., PwD) are detailed in the notification.
  3. Document Verification: Similar to MTS.
  4. Final Merit List: Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio (vacancies: candidates) based on Session 2 performance, followed by PET/PST qualification.

  The SSC MTS 2025 exam is scheduled from September 20 to October 24, 2025, with admit cards released 10–15 days prior. Candidates should check ssc.gov.in for updates.

  The application process for SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment 2025 is conducted online through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The application window is open from June 26, 2025, to July 24, 2025, with the last date for fee payment being July 25, 2025. Follow these steps to apply:

  6. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the fee online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay). The fee structure is:

     • SC/ST/PwD/Women/ESM: Exempted
