Qualification

• Technician Grade-I Signal :
  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized university, OR
  • A Diploma or Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines such as Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• Technician Grade-III :
  • Class 10 (SSLC/Matriculation) from a recognized board, AND
  • Completion of an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or Apprenticeship in specific trades such as Foundryman, Moulder, Pattern Maker, Forger, or Heat Treater.

  The application process for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 is entirely online and must be completed through the official RRB website, rrbapply.gov.in, or regional RRB portals (e.g., rrbsecunderabad.gov.in, rrbcdg.gov.in). The application window is open from June 28, 2025, to July 28, 2025, until 11:59 PM. Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the Official Website:
     • Go to rrbapply.gov.in or the regional RRB website (e.g., rrbahmedabad.gov.in, rrbchennai.gov.in).
     • Look for the CEN No. 02/2025 recruitment link on the homepage.
  2. Register:
     • Click on the “Apply Online” link and select New Registration.
     • Provide a valid email ID and mobile number to generate a registration ID and password.
  3. Fill the Application Form:
     • Log in using your credentials and complete the application form with accurate personal, educational, and trade-specific details.
     • Select the preferred railway zone and post (Technician Grade-I Signal or Grade-III).
  4. Upload Documents:
     • Upload a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and required certificates (e.g., educational qualifications, caste certificate) in the specified format.
  5. Pay the Application Fee:
     • General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refunded upon appearing for the CBT).
     • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class: ₹250 (fully refunded upon appearing for the CBT).
     • Payment can be made via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
     • The last date for fee payment is July 28, 2025.
