Qualification

  • Research Scientist (RS) :
    • M.E./M.Tech in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or related fields with an aggregate minimum of 60% (or CGPA 6.5/10) and a pre-eligibility qualification of B.E./B.Tech with 65% (or CGPA 6.84/10).
    • Alternatively, M.Sc. in Physics, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, or equivalent with 65% and a B.Sc. in relevant subjects.
  • Project Scientist (PS) :
    • M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, VLSI, Signal Processing, or related disciplines with 60% (or CGPA 6.5/10) and a B.E./B.Tech with 65%.
    • Or M.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics, or Water Resources with 65% and a B.Sc. in relevant subjects.
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) :
    • M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Tech) in Geoinformatics, Forestry, Ecology, Agriculture, or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 65% (or CGPA 6.84/10).
    • Candidates must have a valid NET/GATE score or equivalent qualification (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET, JEST).
    • B.Sc. with relevant subjects is preferred.
