Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (Class 12) or its equivalent with at least 10% marks.
A 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in Special Education or a B.Ed. in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
Alternatively, candidates with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and a 1-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI are eligible.
Candidates must have completed a 6-month teacher training course from a recognized Teacher Training Institute.
A valid Central Registration Number (CRR) from RCI is required.
Candidates must have passed the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023 (Paper I)
Classes 6 to 8 :
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
Candidates must possess a B.Ed. in Special Education recognized by RCI.
