Mode of Selection	The TNPSC CCSE selection process is multi-tiered: Preliminary Examination: This objective-type exam tests your General Tamil, General English, General Knowledge (including History, Indian Polity & Economy, Current Affairs, Science & Technology), Aptitude & Mental Ability Tests, and Mathematics (optional for Assistant Commissioner). Main Written Examination: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be called for the main written exam, which will be specific to the chosen post (Assistant Commissioner or District Educational Officer).
