Mode of Selection	The selection process for Assistant Commissioner and District Educational Officer positions involves three stages: Preliminary Exam: This objective-type test acts as a screening round. It assesses your General Tamil, General Knowledge (including Indian Polity & Economy, Science & Technology, Current Affairs), Mental Ability & Aptitude, and Mathematics. Main Exam: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam proceed to the main exam. This is a descriptive test, evaluating your writing skills, analytical abilities, and subject-specific knowledge relevant to the chosen post (Law for Assistant Commissioner and Education for District Educational Officer).
