Punjab Police Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria ⇧

• Qualification :

  You must have passed 12th class from a recognized board.

• Age :

  As of today, January 1st, 2024, your age should be between 18 and 28 years. Age Relaxation are available category wise. Check Notice!

• Mode of Selection :

  The selection process for Punjab Police Constable recruitment typically involves several stages:

  1. Online Application: This is your first step. Ensure you fill out the online application form meticulously within the stipulated timeframe.
  2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a PMT to verify their height, weight, and other physical attributes as per the notification. They will also undergo a PET to assess their stamina, agility, and overall fitness for police work.
  3. Written Examination: Those who qualify the physical tests will proceed to a written exam. The exam format and syllabus will be detailed in the notification, but it generally covers subjects like General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and Punjabi Language.

  • Ex-Servicemen(ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM: (Rs. 500/- + 0/-) = Rs. 500/-
  • SC/ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only & Economically Weaker Sections(EWS) : (Rs. 500/- + 150/-) = Rs. 650/-
