Qualification

• Trade Apprentice (Attendant Operator, Fitter, Boiler) : Candidates must have completed Matriculation with a 2-year full-time ITI course in the relevant trade, recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• Technician Apprentice (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) : Candidates must hold a 3-year full-time Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved seats).
• Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant, Accountant) : Candidates must have a full-time Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved seats).
• Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Fresher) : Candidates must have passed Class 12 in any stream from a recognized board.
• Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Skill Certificate Holders) : Candidates must have passed Class 12 and possess a skill certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator.

  1. Step 1: Register on NAPS/NATS Portal
     • Candidates must first register on the appropriate portal based on their trade:
     • Trade Apprentice (ITI/Data Entry Operator): Register at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
     • Technician Apprentice (Diploma) and Graduate Apprentice: Register at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
     • Visit the respective portal and create an account using a valid email ID and phone number.
     • Complete the registration by providing personal, educational, and contact details.
     • Note down the User ID/Email ID and password for future reference.
  2. Step 2: Apply on the IOCL Website
     • Visit the official IOCL website at https://iocl.com/
     • Navigate to the “Indian Oil For You” section, click on “Indian Oil for Careers,” and then select “Engagement of Apprentices.”
     • Find the notification for “Engagement of 1770 Trade/Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at IOCL – Refineries Division.”
     • Click on the “Apply Online” link and log in using the NAPS/NATS portal credentials.
     • Fill out the application form with accurate details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and preferred refinery unit.
     • Upload a consolidated PDF document (maximum size 5 MB) containing all required documents, such as:
       • Class 10/12 mark sheets and certificates
       • ITI/Diploma/Graduation mark sheets and certificates
       • Pre-engagement medical fitness certificate
